Nice, France - DAY FOUR

We woke up and headed to Cannes for the day (After sending off some emails, etc). The train got us there in about 30 minutes so it was great. Once we arrived we found ourselves a sandwich for lunch and we walked to the beach to eat it. Cannes is lovely but quite touristy (As expected, of course). After the sandwich we soaked up the sun on the beach until it began to rain. Once the rain started we packed up our stuff and headed out to find cover. We ended up wandering around in the rain and eventually stopped for a drink to wait it out. It didn't last long so we headed back out to the beach (At the other end of Cannes this time) but after about an hour it proceeded to rain AGAIN. This time we decided that it was time to head back to Nice. It was about 7:00pm when we got back so we headed straight out for dinner at The Jockey (Where we had eaten the night before and our first night in Nice) where we had mussels AGAIN! After we ate the waiter, remembering us from the previous night, brought this soccer ball shaped bottle of booze over and said "New home present". We assume he said that cause we've pretty much moved in to the restaurant at this point! We recognized the bottle as something they give to the regulars because the older couple we met there the previous night had been given the bottle and had given us a shot from it to drink with them. Needless to say, we were quite flattered and will, of course, be going there for dinner again before we leave.
