Delhi Food Day

A few months before the trip I (as I always tend to do) started to reseach food related things in Delhi and came across a blog called Chef at Large which is run by a guy name Sid. He is a real foodie who for the love of food started reviewing restaurants and I guess it caught on in Delhi cause its now a 2000 member strong communityof foodies. So we started chating about Delhi and India and food over the last few months and got to know eachother a bit. Sid does these food walks where he would take a bunch of people out all over town for different types of meals. This sounded like something we'd be totally into and said we'd get together while in Delhi.
We met him and finally got up the courage to try some meat - pork in a spicy tomato sauce, mutton balls, sweets and fruit beer (non-alcoholic). The place he took us to was the only place in India where it was clear enough to see the blue sky.
He brought us to many food stalls, gave us background on each dish we were eating and generally entertained us with information on India and Indian food. All in all, it was a great pleasure to get together with him.
Photos of the Dosas (at the food stand) were taken the next day. We had those for breakfast!

Enjoy the photos!
